Virat Kohli was seen in a revengeful yet hilarious mood after RCB beat Delhi Capitals in Match 46 of IPL 2025. The reverse fixture between the two sides took place on April 10 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where Bengaluru-born KL Rahul gestured “This is my home ground” after his match-winning 93* off 53 balls against the hosts. Now, after RCB won at New Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium, the local boy Kohli gave KL Rahul a taste of his own medicine.
The video of the incident went viral on social media and got the netizens to tickle their funny bones, as the duo was seen in a cheerful mode while shaking hands after the game ended, with RCB registering a brilliant six-wicket win on Sunday, April 27.

Notably, Kohli played a sluggish yet a crucial knock in the chase against the Axar Patel-led side, as RCB were to chase 163 runs in 20 overs, but lost three early wickets. After seeing his partners fall like a pack of cards, Kohli partnered alongside Krunal Pandya to steady the sinking ship, and the duo stitched a huge 119-run stand to ease the things out for the visiting side.
The ace batter reached his half-century in 45 balls, but it was a sensible knock under pressure, as RCB were reduced to 26 for the loss of three wickets when Rajat Patidar departed. Virat departed shortly after his half-century, but it was Krunal who stayed till the end, to end up with a match-winning 73* off just 47 balls. Krunal was also awarded Player of the Match for this knock.
“It’s always good to get the result. Sometimes when you put in the hard work, and it shows the result, it feels good. My role was clear that if we lose three wickets, to stitch the partnerships because we have hitters down the order – Tim David and Jitesh. When Virat is there at the other end, it’s always quite easy, I’ll give credit to him. My first 20 balls were quite scratchy, but he kept pushing me that ‘you’ll do it.’ I’ve always been an economical bowler, it’s my 10th season. I’ve worked a lot on my bowling with my variations. I just want to keep my head down and continue this. (On bowling the bouncer) Batsmanship is getting better and players are more fearless in the IPL, so you have to be one step ahead. I want to keep the batsmen guessing,” Krunal said at the post-match party.
