The Telangana government has officially reappointed senior IPS officer V.B. Kamalasan Reddy as Officer-on-Special Duty (OSD) to the Intelligence Security Wing in the Intelligence Department, Hyderabad. The reappointment comes into effect upon his superannuation on April 30 and will be valid for a period of two years from the date he assumes charge.
In addition to his primary role, Mr. Reddy will also hold full additional charge of the post of Director, Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TICCC), Hyderabad.
The government order dated Apri 30, stated that detailed terms and conditions of the reappointment will be communicated separately. The order further mentions that the Director of the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre will report to the Chief Secretary through the Special Chief Secretary, Home Department.
Mr. Reddy was previously serving as the Director General, Drugs Control Administration and Director, Telangana Prohibition and Excise.
