Tusshar Kapoor’s 9-year-old son has started taking Hindi lessons ‘in case he wants to be an actor’ one day: ‘He doesn’t watch Hindi movies’ | Bollywood News

Tusshar Kapoor, best known for appearing in Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal franchise, grew up in the world of movies as his father, veteran actor Jeetendra, was one of the most popular actors in the 1970s and 1980s. His sister, Ekta Kapoor, grew up to be one of the most powerful television and film producers in the country, and following her footsteps, Tusshar too joined the entertainment business. But, success didn’t come easily to the actor, as he was criticised for almost all of his performances in the early years. In a recent interview, Tusshar was asked if his son Laksshya likes his performances, and the actor revealed that his 9-year-old son does not watch Hindi films. However, Tusshar has just enrolled him in Hindi classes so he is familiar with the language, in case he wants to become an actor later in life.

In a chat with BBC News Hindi, Tusshar said that when he recently showed one of his movie posters to his son. “He asked me, ‘Why don’t you act in an English film?’ I said, ‘No, we are in India, so we have to work in Hindi movies’. He said, ‘Then I can’t watch the movie’,” he shared and added that upon listening to this, he reminded his son that he knows the language. .

Tusshar shared that his son is exposed to a lot of international content, but he got him enrolled in Hindi classes, so it can be of assistance if his son wants to become an actor later in life. “He watches so much YouTube, international football, his intonation is largely in English. So now I have started his Hindi classes because he is learning Spanish in school. I don’t want him to forget Hindi because if he has to work in films later in life, he should be familiar with Hindi,” he said and added that he has grown up watching Hindi movies.
