Sir Tom Jones’ fellow The Voice coaches have reached out to the 85-year-old after he announced he’d been forced to postpone a gig thanks to ill health.
The veteran Welsh performer called off his Tuesday evening performance in Bremen merely hours before taking the stage, citing an upper respiratory infection requiring medical attention and rest.
The 85-year-old entertainer informed disappointed ticket holders through social media that the concert would be rescheduled for Monday, July 28.
The last-minute cancellation affected thousands of fans who had planned to attend the German venue.

The singer expressed deep regret about the timing and acknowledged the disruption this would cause to those who had made arrangements to attend the original date.
This marks the latest health-related postponement for the octogenarian performer during his current European tour schedule.
In his announcement, Jones stated: “Hello to all the fans in Bremen. Unfortunately, I must postpone my show this evening, as I’ve contracted an upper respiratory infection that needs treatment and rest.
“I know this is really disappointing and will cause inconvenience to you all, and I’m very sorry about that.”
The performer reassured ticket holders about the rescheduled performance, adding: “But the show will now go ahead on Monday 28th July, so I look forward to seeing you then. All tickets will remain valid for the re-scheduled date.”
He concluded his message with: “Until then, thank you for your understanding. Love, Tom.”
Inevitably, the announcement sparked concern among Sir Tom’s fanbase, with hundreds rushing to wish the singer a speedy recovery.
And two familiar faces followed suit – Sir Tom’s The Voice co-stars Olly Murs and Anne Marie.
“You’re the best,” Anne Marie wrote in response to the announcement while Murs shared a love-heart emoji alongside the sentence: “Getting better soon TJ xx.” (sic)
The performer has faced several medical setbacks in recent years. In 2018, the then-78-year-old was hospitalised with a bacterial infection, forcing him to withdraw from multiple performances.

A statement at the time indicated: “Sir Tom has a bacterial infection for which he is being treated in hospital. The condition is being well managed and under doctors’ orders. Appropriate recovery time and rest is advised.”
The singer has also undergone bilateral hip replacement procedures, with surgery on his left hip in 2017 followed by his right hip in 2022. Following the second operation, he required walking stick assistance during recovery.

Despite recent health challenges, Jones had expressed optimism about his vocal abilities. Last year, he told The Mirror: “Well, thank God my voice is still working.
“I am 83 years old. I mean, I can’t believe it, but it is true. When I am singing, I am like, ‘How the hell is this coming out of me?’ Honestly. If the voice was not there, I am sure I would be going ‘Urgh, I don’t want to do so many shows’, but I love it as the voice is still working!”
The Bremen performance forms part of Jones’s summer tour across Britain and Europe, which began at Hampton Court Palace in June and concludes with two Cardiff Castle performances in August.
