Royal fans have praised Princess Kate’s “superpower” after the future Queen was filmed on a secret visit to the Lake District, where she featured as Joint President of Scouts.
The Princess of Wales, 43, opened up about her “very intense emotional connection” to nature – a message she has repeatedly reinforced.
The cinematic video, released by Kensington Palace, showed the Princess meeting new Chief Scout, Dwayne Fields, for the first time on a walk, near the shores of Lake Windermere.

Kate told Fields: “I find it a very spiritual and very intense emotional re-connection I suppose, these environments.
“Not everyone has that same relationship perhaps with nature, but it is so therefore meaningful for me as a place to balance and find a sort of sense of peace and re-connection in what is otherwise a very busy world.”
The Princess of Wales announced she had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in March 2024.
Since her health battle began, Princess Kate explained she found sanctuary in nature while undergoing her treatment.

The movie for Kensington Palace was filmed on the Princess of Wales’s secret visit to the Lake District last month.
Kate is not currently undergoing public engagements due to her children’s Easter holidays.
The royal, who is in remission from cancer, last stepped out in public on March 17 for the 2025 Irish Guards’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
