Kolkata: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said that the Indian Armed Forces are fully prepared to face any challenge. He emphasized that the forces are ready to handle both conventional and unconventional threats.Speaking at the Combined Commanders’ Conference in Kolkata, Singh highlighted the need to go beyond traditional warfare and remain alert to emerging threats, including information, ideological, ecological, and biological challenges.
He stressed the importance of maintaining a “surge capacity” to manage sudden and unpredictable conflicts. Singh also noted the role of indigenous platforms and the courage of soldiers in ensuring India’s security.
The Defence Minister’s remarks underline India’s commitment to strengthening its defense capabilities and adapting to modern security challenges.
