
Speaking at the Combined Commanders’ Conference in Kolkata, Singh highlighted the need to go beyond traditional warfare and remain alert to emerging threats, including information, ideological, ecological, and biological challenges.
He stressed the importance of maintaining a “surge capacity” to manage sudden and unpredictable conflicts. Singh also noted the role of indigenous platforms and the courage of soldiers in ensuring India’s security.
