Queen Camilla is set to pay tribute to Zara Tindall during her next royal outing, according to a jewellery expert.
The Queen will appear at today’s Garter Day ceremony at Windsor Castle, and will likely showcase significant pieces from her collection.
Tobias Kormind, managing director and co-founder of 77 Diamonds, Europe’s largest online diamond jeweller, told GB News that the Queen “can be expected to complement the distinctive dark blue velvet robes with sophisticated jewels of historic significance.”
He predicted: “In 2024, she wore a pearl choker featuring a diamond and topaz clasp, which can also be worn separately as a brooch.”

The versatile piece has become a signature element of her ceremonial attire.
It carries a remarkable heritage, dating from the 1830s, and even pays tribute to Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara.
Kormind explained: “This exquisite piece, dating back to the 1830s, was purchased for Camilla in the early 2000s and has since been a staple in her collection, worn at numerous royal occasions including the wedding of Zara Phillips to Mike Tindall and Trooping the Colour.”
The jewellery expert suggested the Queen would “likely continue to opt for pieces that have historical importance while adding a personal touch to her look with items, such as the pearl earrings which she wore to her wedding to King Charles in 2005.”

Paying tribute to Zara at an event she cannot attend because she is not a working royal would be a sweet gesture from Queen Camilla.
The Order of the Garter represents Britain’s most ancient and prestigious chivalric honour, founded by King Edward III approximately 700 years ago.
The Order maintains an exclusive membership, comprising the monarch as Sovereign of the Garter, the Queen, various Royal Family members, and a maximum of 24 Companions.
These Companions receive personal selection from the Sovereign, recognising individuals who have served in public office, made exceptional contributions to national life, or provided personal service to the monarch.
Queen Camilla wore the same choker at Zara Tindall’s wedding in 2011.

The Order’s enduring traditions and selective membership underscore its position as the nation’s most senior chivalric institution.
The monarch and Queen will lead fellow royals in a procession to St George’s Chapel this afternoon, returning to the Castle by carriage following the service. Last year’s ceremony saw notable additions to the Order’s ranks.
The Duchess of Gloucester joined as a new Companion, alongside Air Chief Marshal the Lord Peach, The Right Honourable the Lord Kakkar and The Lord Lloyd-Webber, who were all invested as Companions in 2024.
Today’s ceremony continues centuries of tradition at Windsor Castle, where the Royal Family gather annually to celebrate this historic institution.
