Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have come under fire for using a “four-car motorcade” during their latest appearance in New York City.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted in the Big Apple on Wednesday with a substantial security entourage as they attended Meghan’s appearance at a TIME 100 summit.
According to Page Six, the couple were followed by a four-vehicle motorcade throughout their visit.
This criticism comes nearly two weeks after Meghan faced similar backlash for what were described as “over the top” security measures during a previous trip to New York.

Photos published by Page Six revealed the extent of the Sussex couple’s entourage.
Their security detail included two SUVs and two unmarked police vehicles accompanying the pair as they travelled through New York.
This arrangement mirrors Meghan’s previous visit to the city on April 10, when she was seen with a similar motorcade.
During that earlier trip, the Duchess was heading out for a meal and to attend a Broadway show.
