Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis missed an exciting opportunity to see a royal helicopter up close with Princess Eugenie’s children at Kensington Palace over the weekend.
The Wales children, aged 11, nine and six respectively, no longer reside at the Palace. In 2022, Princess Kate and Prince William relocated their family to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

Instead of spending Sunday with his grandchildren in Windsor, King Charles visited Kensington Palace to see his great-nephews, August and Ernest Brooksbank.
Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, reside on the Kensington Palace grounds at a small property called Ivy Cottage.
Many onlookers were startled by the unexpected royal arrival in central London. After the King’s departure, Jack escorted four excited children, including his two sons, to the red helicopter.
The young royals spent around 10 minutes observing the impressive aircraft, just out of view from gathering crowds.

A source told Hello! that “lots of onlookers” witnessed August and Ernest’s exclusive up-close look at the royal helicopter.
The children soaked up the sunshine during their brief tour of the aircraft. This special experience gave the youngsters a rare opportunity to examine the royal mode of transportation.
Following the tour, Jack shared a sweet moment with his sons, ruffling their hair and chatting close to their ears as they walked back to Kensington Palace.
The young royals were clearly captivated by the King’s mode of transportation. They continued “watching from the house” as the helicopter took off again.

The children waited for the aircraft to disappear into the sky before retreating to privacy.
Jack and Eugenie are currently enjoying family time in the UK at their private residence, Ivy Cottage.
The property is situated on the Kensington Palace grounds.
However, the family divides their time between London and Portugal. They also maintain a home in Comporta, Portugal.
