After the blockbuster success of Sita Ramam, director Hanu Raghavapudi has joined hands with Prabhas. On the occasion of the star’s birthday on Thursday, production house Mythri Movie Makers shared the title poster for the upcoming military-based action epic titled Fauzi.

The makers shared the poster on their X handle with a Sanskrit slogan, which roughly translates to, “Partha (Arjuna), victor of the Padmavyuha formation; Karna, standing on the Pandavas’ side. Ekalavya, without a guru; And this one, a warrior by birth,” possibly hinting that the film will be chock-full of references to the Mahabharata, particularly in the way Prabhas’ character is conceived. The caption for the poster read, “Happy Birthday to our dearest #Prabhas garu..Taking pride in presenting you as #FAUZI, this journey so far has been unforgettable and only promises to get bigger from here!”

The title poster of Fauzi features a burning British flag in the foreground, with Prabhas’ furious face dominating the background. Behind him, Hindi and English words are scattered, with special emphasis on the phrase, Operation Z. The logline of the poster reads, “A battalion that fights alone,” seemingly referring to Prabhas’ character.

Fauzi also stars social media influencer Imanvi. The cinematography is handled by Sudeep Chatterjee, while music composer Vishal Chandrasekhar reunites with Hanu Raghavapudi after their chart-topping collaboration on the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Sita Ramam.

Interestingly, the film’s title was accidentally revealed by Pradeep Ranganathan during the pre-release event of the Diwali blockbuster Dude, produced by Mythri Movie Makers. While praising the production house, Pradeep inadvertently mentioned the title, saying, “I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this now, but the producers showed me some clippings from a film called Fauzi, which they’re making with Prabhas sir. That film is going to release soon — you’re all going to watch it. What passion!” He then added with a laugh, “Did I just reveal too much by mistake? Was that not supposed to be out yet, sir?”

Mythri Movie Makers have yet to announce the release date of Prabhas’ Fauzi.
