The police have granted permission for the second state conference of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), led by actor Vijay. The conference is scheduled to take place on August 21 in Madurai.The event was initially planned for August 25 but was rescheduled to avoid conflicting with the Vinayagar Chaturthi festival. Following the date change, TVK General Secretary Bussy Anand and other party members submitted a formal application to Additional Superintendent of Police Anshul Nag.
The police posed 42 questions to the party regarding the venue, expected crowd size, parking arrangements, food and water facilities, security measures, and key attendees. After receiving detailed responses from the TVK, permission was officially granted. Preparations for the conference are now underway.
