As he passes on the street, a man in a black suit, white shirt and eyeglasses turns to look at a festive display in front of a steel and glass building: there are two enormous sculptures that look like shaggy dogs sitting side by side. One dog sculpture is light brown, the other white with a red bow around its neck, and both of the dogs' faces are blank—with no eyes, noses, or mouths.
