Until then, these killings will continue under the guise of protecting family dignity,” Haasan said.
He urged political leaders, social organizations, and the public to collectively work towards breaking down caste-based prejudices and promoting human dignity and equality. Haasan has consistently spoken against caste discrimination and communal violence, and reiterated that modern Tamil society must uphold compassion over outdated customs.
