District in charge Minister, Dinesh Gundu Rao inspected the under-constructed indoor stadium at Urwa Market, in Mangaluru on Saturday.

Minister in charge of Dakshina Kannada Dinesh Gundu Rao has asked Mangaluru Smart City Ltd. (MSCL) to complete the indoor stadium project at Urwa Market by April 15.
The Minister who inspected the project works on Saturday instructed MSCL officials not to delay the project beyond mid-April. Later the stadium should be opened for sports activities, he said.
Deputy Commissioner M.P. Mullai Muhilan told the Minister that the project has been taken up under Mangaluru smart city mission at a cost of ₹33 crore. It will have 11 courts for kabaddi and badminton.
The stadium will have a rest room, gym, cafeteria, parking facility and three elevators.
MLC Manjunath Bhandary was also present with the Minister.
