Meghan Markle has admitted to making “mistakes” whilst launching three ventures simultaneously, as she faces criticism over her recent projects.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, made the candid remarks during the TIME100 Summit in New York City on Wednesday.
Between her Netflix series ‘With Love, Meghan’, her lifestyle brand ‘As Ever’, and her new Lemonada podcast, the former royal has had what she described as an “incredibly busy and ambitious” 18 months.
Each venture since stepping back from a senior working member of the Royal Family has encountered significant problems since launching.

Meghan told attendees at the summit: “There were three projects that we were launching really at the same time.”
“Then you see it all come to life and try to give yourself the space and the grace to make mistakes, to know you’re not doing it right every day.”
The mother-of-two added that parenthood helps her maintain perspective on professional challenges.
She explained: “Something that is seemingly so big somehow becomes so microscopic in importance compared to what’s happening with my children.”

Meghan’s Netflix series faced criticism upon its release last month, with negative reviews from both critics and viewers.
Her As Ever lifestyle brand encountered problems when some customers had their orders cancelled due to overselling.
Meanwhile, her podcast is reportedly struggling to secure high-profile guests.

A source close to the production told RadarOnline: “No one’s picking up the phone, There’s no Taylor Swift. No Beyoncé. Not even a Hailey Bieber.”
Despite this, Meghan has interviewed some top entrepreneurs, including Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd.
When asked about handling scrutiny, Meghan revealed she has made a “very conscious effort to create boundaries for herself, her wellbeing, and mental health.”
She emphasised the importance of being a good role model for her daughter Lilibet and added: “But also having a son, I think that is just as paramount.
“[It’s important] for young men to be raised with a confidence and sense of self that is going to empower the women around them too. I am able to just tune out whatever that noise is, really not give it any credence.”
