King Charles and Queen Camilla have issued a statement ahead of the London and Manchester Marathons on Sunday.
The King, 76, and Queen, 77, wished all participants good luck ahead of the start.
The royals shared a photo of a gold medal posted by the official London Marathon account.
The caption read: “Good luck to everyone taking part in the @Londonmarathon and @Manchestermarathon today!”

The 2025 London Marathon could set a new world record today with more than 56,000 people expected to run through the capital.
In addition, the city could also set a new record for the world’s biggest marathon, which is currently held by the TCS New York Marathon in November, which had 55,646 runners cross the finish line.
Participants will pass by many landmarks, such as Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and Buckingham Palace, on the famous route.
The finish line will be in front of the London royal residence of Buckingham Palace.

The Manchester Marathon, described by the organisation as the UK’s fastest, flattest and friendliest major marathon, has also begun on Sunday morning.
On the post shared by the royals, fans have taken to the comments to echo the King’s message.
One social media user wrote: “Good luck everybody!”
While another said: “Looking forward to cheering on everyone.”
