The Israeli administration has announced a pause in military activities in some of the designated areas in Gaza where it is not operating until further notice, Reuters reported. The Israeli military has said that pause in its activities will be centred around three areas of Gaza, starting Sunday onwards.
The development comes as Israel announced resuming aid air drops to Gaza on Saturday and was taking several other steps to ease the humanitarian crisis in Palestine after mounting international pressure. The Israeli military had said that “humanitarian corridors” would be established for safe movement of United Nations convoys delivering aid to Gaza citizens.
