Honoring KnowBe4’s 15 Years of Excellence with a New Brand Identity


As I reflect on KnowBe4’s incredible journey, I’m filled with both pride for how far we’ve come and excitement for what’s ahead. Today marks a special milestone for our company as we unveil our bold new brand identity in honor of 15 years since Stu founded KnowBe4. A visual transformation that perfectly captures our evolution and our vision for the future of Human Risk Management. 

This brand evolution is deeply personal to me as CMO because it represents not just where we’ve been, but our commitment to leading the conversation about human-centered cybersecurity. As cyber threats continue to evolve in the age of AI,  the human element remains the most critical factor. Our new tagline, “Rise Above Risk” encourages cybersecurity professionals and users to take an active role rising above the increased cyber risks.

When we first started discussing this brand refresh, we wanted to tell the story of who KnowBe4 has become and where we’re headed next. The mission is the same, we’ve helped millions of users across tens of thousands of organizations worldwide strengthen their security posture and stay cybersafe. Therefore it was important that we incorporate the voice of our customer into the design process. We surveyed and spoke with our top community customers, as well as an internal focus group consisting of Knowsters across departments and geographies. What consistently came back from customers were quotes such as, 

“KnowBe4 is fun and down to earth versus technical and overly complicated.”

“I feel like KnowBe4 genuinely wants to help us improve our security posture.”

Our new logo maintains the KnowBe4 wordmark that our customers know and trust, while introducing a more dynamic and contemporary feel. We’ve refined our distinctive orange color to create a more vibrant and energetic presence with improved color contrast for accessibility.

The design evolution includes:

  • A streamlined logo that enhances readability and makes a stronger impact
  • A refined color palette that feels fresh and current while maintaining our brand familiarity
  • Modern typography that strikes the right balance between professionalism and approachability
  • Flexible design elements that work beautifully across all our digital and traditional touchpoints

As our new brand identity goes live across our website, marketing materials, and communications today, I can’t help but feel energized about what’s next. Thank you to our customers, Knowsters, our CEO Bryan, Creative Director Stephanie, and our agency Speak! for their partnership on this project.
