Taking swift action following a message on X, Gujarat police located five youths from Telangana who went on a trek on the Tungai Mata Hill near Zarwani waterfall near Statue of Unity in Narmada district on Sunday. The son of former State Organising Secretary of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Subhashini M was one of the group members.
Subhashini, with a tagged GPS location, posted on X that her “son with his friends (5) went for trekking and got stuck. They are not finding the way to come back”. She tagged several state government and BJP handles as well as the Chief Minister’s Office around 3.15 pm on Sunday. Replying to it, Minister of Home for State, Harsh Sanghavi, said he has asked the DGP Gujarat to help them.
