Cricket legend Freddie Flintoff is set to feature in a new 90-minute documentary premiering on Disney+ later this month.
The film, simply titled Flintoff, will be released exclusively in the UK and Ireland on Friday, April 25.
The documentary promises an intimate look at the former England star’s life and career, including his recovery from the life-altering car crash he experienced while filming Top Gear in 2022.
Viewers will gain exclusive insight into Flintoff’s world, from his cricket triumphs to his current life.

The documentary will explore the highs and lows of Flintoff’s cricket career, including his victories in two Ashes series for England.
It will also chart his return to cricket following the devastating crash that occurred in late 2022.
The accident, which happened during filming at a test track in Surrey, left Flintoff with broken ribs and serious facial injuries.
Production on Top Gear was subsequently suspended and the series later rested following the incident.

Flintoff, whose real name is Andrew, reflected on the significance of cricket in his life, stating: “Cricket’s always been a massive part of my life, shaping who I am.
“Looking back on the highs and the lows, including the challenges I’ve faced since my accident, has been a real reminder of why my career in the sport has meant so much.”
The 47-year-old former cricketer has granted cameras exclusive access to document these personal experiences.
The BBC previously apologised to Flintoff and reportedly settled with a £9 million compensation package.
In a BBC series last year, Flintoff opened up about the psychological impact of his accident.
“I thought I could just shake it off, I wanted to shake it off, and say, ‘Here I am, I’m alright,’ but it’s not been a case of that, it’s been much harder than I thought,” he said.
He revealed ongoing struggles with anxiety, nightmares and flashbacks.
The former Top Gear presenter was left permanently scarred following the crash, which he described as “so hard to cope” with.

Award-winning director John Dower has been granted exclusive access to Flintoff over the past year to document his recovery journey.
The film will offer viewers a rare glimpse into the personal challenges Flintoff has faced since the accident.
Flintoff has gradually returned to the public eye after taking time away from the spotlight to recover from his injuries.
Flintoff has been gradually returning to television with his BBC series Field of Dreams following his recovery.
Speaking last year, he expressed: “I genuinely should not be here with what happened,” as he talked about filming the new Field of Dreams in India.
“It’s going to be a long road back, and I’ve only just started. But I’ve got to look at the positives: I’m still here and I’ve got another chance to have a go at it.”
Speaking to Radio Times, the BBC and other press he went on: “I’m looking forward to seeing the lads and being around them. I really am. This India trip is for me as much as them. I am determined.”
