The sleuths of the Directorate of Enforcement on Monday conducted searches at the offices of Minister K.N. Nehru’s brother K.N. Ravichandran and his son and DMK MP Arun Nehru in Chennai and premises linked to them in Alwarpet, Raja Annamalai Puram, Adyar, CIT Colony, Mylapore and other places in the city.
They began the searches at the corporate office of GSNR Rice Industrial Private Limited on C.V. Raman Street, Alwarpet. Mr. Arun Nehru is the director of the company. They also searched Mr. Ravichandran’s office and house at Raja Annamalai Puram, the house of Ramesh, director of True Value Homes, and a house belonging to former MLA M.K. Balan, at CIT Nagar, from where Truedom EPC India Private Limited is operating.
