North East Delhi BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has been taking part in Lok Sabha proceedings despite suffering lesions and injuries while completing a barefoot, more than 100-km-long Kanwar Yatra over the last weekend. Making a return to the annual Shravan pilgrimage after 30 years, Tiwari walked over three days and two nights to reach Deoghar in Jharkhand and prayed at Baba Baidhyanath Dham. On Monday, he was back in the Capital attending the Monsoon Session in Lok Sabha. After the conclusion of the House proceedings on Friday, Tiwari and his wife Surabhi called on PM Narendra Modi and presented him the prasad that he offered at the temple. “On receiving the prasad, the Prime Minister chanted Har Har Mahadev and looked very pleased,” the MP posted on X.
