OpenAI’s ChatGPT is experiencing a downtime. Hundreds of users worldwide are facing issues with the AI tool. Majority of the users reported problems with OpenAI’s ChatGPT on the web, while others are facing issues accessing the app. In India, over 80% users have reported problems with OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Around 12% users are facing issues with the website, while 7% complained about issues on the app.

Many users reported seeing an error message: “Request is not allowed. Please try again later.”“Anybody facing issues lately with ChatGpt?? Is it down? I m frequently getting this msg only (attached here),” wrote one user.“ChatGPT seems to be down at the moment..Bad gateway – The web server reported a bad gateway error,” said another user.“ChatGPT is down…..Which means I actually have to type out my own emails at work. Send prayers,” joked a third user.

While hundreds of user across the globe have reported facing issues with ChatGPT, OpenAI’s official status page shows no issue with the AI chatbot. “We’re not aware of any issues affecting our systems,” the status page reads, adding “We’re fully operational”. (This is a developing story)
