The five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) are clashing on with Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on May 1. RR skipper won the toss and opted to field first by pointing the potential impact of dew later in the game. But, the decision did not pay off for them.

MI openers Rohit Sharma and South African Ryan Rickelton got their team off to a flying start with a superb opening partnership. Last time at this venue, the 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi made headlines by smashing a 37-ball century and so fans will expect another fireworks from the youngster.

MI have won five consecutive matches and currently sit third in the points table, and they now will aim for a spot in the playoffs. Meanwhile, this match is a must-win for RR to keep their playoff hopes alive in IPL 2025.
