Meghan Markle shares fresh update on Lilibet and Archie as her nickname for young royals revealed

Meghan Markle has shared adorable unseen photographs of her children Archie and Lilibet picking flowers.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to Instagram yesterday to post images of her two children helping her select pink roses from a bush.

The tender family moment was captioned: “Sunday kind of love….with my little loves.”

The intimate glimpse into the Sussexes’ family life comes shortly after royal fans heard Princess Lilibet’s American accent for the first time in another social media post.

In the newly shared images, Princess Lilibet can be seen with her hair flowing freely while dressed in a pink top.

Prince Archie appears alongside his sister wearing a navy blue, long-sleeved shirt.

The photographs offer a rare glimpse of the Sussex children enjoying outdoor activities at their California home.

The images show the young royals helping their mother select pink roses from a flowering bush on the family’s Montecito estate.

This latest social media activity follows a weekend post where Lilibet’s American accent was heard for the first time.

In the previous video, Meghan can be heard asking her three-year-old daughter what she thinks of her strawberry jam.

“It’s beautiful,” the toddler replied, her Californian accent clearly audible.

The Duchess had been preparing a fresh batch of the sweet treat when she captured her daughter’s enthusiastic verdict.

The jam-making appears to align with Meghan’s recently discussed passion for homemade kitchen creations.

The Duchess also shared a glimpse of a fish pond located on the family’s $14million Montecito estate.

In the video, Archie can be heard excitedly calling to his mother to watch him feed the koi fish.

“Mama, watch it!” he says enthusiastically. “I just fed it!”

Meghan responds with a laugh, saying: “Good job, that’s enough.”

The brief interaction reveals the five-year-old prince’s developing American accent.

Meghan has been routinely sharing glimpses of her Montecito life since relaunching her Instagram account on New Year’s Day.

This includes various pictures and videos featuring her and Prince Harry’s children.

Royal fans first heard Lilibet’s voice in January 2025, when the Duchess posted a tribute to their late beagle, Guy.

The emotional post included footage of the royal children singing to the beloved pet.

In that same video, Archie could be heard saying “he might fall” with a noticeable American accent while referring to the family dog.

Meghan’s latest Instagram activity comes just days after her appearance at the Time100 Summit on Thursday.
