Princess Kate’s brother has made his feelings clear following a message to Prince Louis on his seventh birthday from the Prince and Princess of Wales.
James Middleton joined royal fans in expressing delight after Kensington Palace posted a short video to social media to mark the milestone occasion.
The special footage offered a glimpse into the making of the young prince’s official birthday portrait, which was released earlier today.
In the video, Louis could be heard asking: “I can jump down from here?” as the seven-year-old liaised with the photographer, Josh Shinner.

In the official portrait, posted earlier in the day, Prince Louis, seven, could be seen smiling while sitting on a piece of wood.
The young prince was missing his two front teeth, a natural occurrence for children under the age of 10.
Louis is the only person to feature in the montage.
Royal enthusiasts flooded the comment section to show their excitement towards the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, who is rarely seen outside royal engagements.
