KGBV student to receive ‘Sunshine Stars Award’ on April 15

K. Rajulamma of KGBV Kasimkota in Anakapalli district will receive the ‘Sunshine Stars Award’ in Vijayawada from Education Minister Nara Lokesh on April 15.

Ms. Rajulamma secured 983 marks in the Intermediate Public Examinations, the highest achieved by any KGBV student in the State.

District Collector Vijay Krishnan, KGBV Kasimkota principal D. Chandrakala, and Education Department officials have congratulated the student on her achievement and all the students of KGBV schools in the district for performing well in the exams.

According to the officials, 629 students from KGBV schools in the district appeared for the Intermediate first year exams, and 543 of them passed, recording a pass percentage of 86.

Similarly, out of 572 second-year students, 520 passed, recording a pass percentage of 91.
