Prince Harry has ‘fired another bombshell at his family’ with ‘cryptic accusation’

Prince Harry has ‘fired another bombshell at his family’ with ‘cryptic accusation’

Prince Harry has fired another bombshell at the Royal Family with a cryptic accusation following his recent court appearance over security arrangements, according to a royal writer.

The Duke of Sussex claimed security officials confirmed to him there was a “deliberate attempt” to keep him and Meghan as working members of the Royal Family.

Harry made these remarks after attending a two-day legal proceeding where he challenged the UK Home Office about his security, claiming he was “singled out” for “unjustified and inferior treatment”.

Following the hearing, Harry told The Telegraph he was “exhausted and overwhelmed” by the legal action, which has lasted more than three years.

He said his “worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure in this case”.

The prince reportedly views the removal of his security as a means to “force them back into Britain and establishment life”.

He believes this was done by making visits to the UK “more difficult and potentially unsafe” for him and his family.

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe, speaking on GB News, criticised Harry’s claims as “bizarre”.

“It seems to be this constant dialect from Harry if things aren’t going his way, he plays the victim,” Larcombe said.

“When this happens, he becomes less and less popular with the British public who used to adore him.”

Larcombe added that Harry’s security concerns appeared contradictory, noting: “Harry is frightened of his own security so he goes to a war zone. That is slightly ironic, isn’t it?”

The Duke believes his father, King Charles, could intervene in the security matter, as the King’s private secretary, Sir Clive Alderton, sits on the Royal and VIP Executive Committee.

However, palace sources “have strongly refuted the idea that the monarch could involve himself in the judicial process”.

A palace source stated: “These are matters of security and government policy and, as usual, it would be inappropriate to comment or intervene on either.”

Buckingham Palace officially does not comment on security matters.

It is understood that Harry has not seen or spoken to his father or brother, Prince William, for several months.

Harry saw the King last February after Charles was diagnosed with cancer, but they have not met since.

The prince “comprehensively lost” his case against the Home Office in February 2024 when Mr Justice Lane ruled that the government’s decision to remove his security was not unfair.

A result of his appeal will be handed down by a panel of three judges after Easter.
