According to product images shared by OnePlus, the upcoming phone will be ditching its iconic circular camera island in favour of a new squarish camera island housing two sensors in a pill-shaped module, while the third sensor and the flash have a housing of their own, similar to the OnePlus 13s.

The phone is said to have a triple 50MP camera setup, one of which might be a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. OnePlus is also said to be ditching the Hasselblad branding in favour of its in-house developed DetailMax Engine.

OnePlus has confirmed that the phone will offer 165Hz of refresh rate, with rumours hinting at a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED screen with 1.5K resolution. In a post on the Chinese social media website Weibo, the company confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will sport a huge 7,300mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Speculated to come with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, the global variant of the OnePlus 15 will ship with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.

OnePlus Ace 6 (OnePlus 15R)

Alongside the OnePlus 15, the Chinese phone maker is also set to launch the Ace 6 – a performance-oriented mid-range phone that may be rebranded as the OnePlus 15R in global markets. In a post on Weibo, OnePlus president Louis Lee revealed that the Ace 6 will have a 165Hz display and support 165 fps gameplay in popular mobile titles like Call of Duty Mobile, Clash of Clans and Delta Force, to name a few.

And while the company is yet to officially reveal the display size, rumour has it that the phone will have a 6.83-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution. The post also revealed that the OnePlus 15R will be powered by last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and have a 7,800mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

It goes on to say that the OnePlus 15R will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and come with a metal frame, and offer IP69K protection. And while rumours hint at a dual camera setup, we expect to see a triple camera setup with a dedicated telephoto shooter on the back.
