When Trisha Krishnan shared she strongly suffers from single child syndrome, doesn’t believe in concept of dating: ‘I can’t share room with anyone, tuned to sleep alone’

Trisha Krishnan has been a steadfast presence in the Tamil film industry since her debut in 1999 and remains one of the few actresses to continue playing leading roles well into her 40s. Over the years, she has become one of the highest-paid actresses in the industry. In 2025 alone, she appeared in four films including Identity, Vidaamuyarchi, Good Bad Ugly, and Thug Life. Though none of these films made a significant mark at the box office, Trisha’s personal life continued to make headlines, most recently with reports suggesting her rumoured relationship with a businessman in Chandigarh.

While the 42-year-old actress clarified the rumors through an Instagram post, speculation around her personal life remains constant, particularly given her past relationships.

Trisha was rumoured to be dating Thalapathy Vijay

‘I am going crazy alone’

After a series of failed relationships, Trisha shared in a 2023 interview with iDream Clips that she was content focusing on herself: “Currently, I am not dating. I am going through a very peaceful phase in my life. Of course, I have dated and been in relationships, but now it’s more about learning to be with myself. There was a time when I thought, ‘Oh my God! I’m going crazy alone,’ but now I am happy in my own skin. I like being alone.”

She added: “I suffer very strongly from single-child syndrome. I am used to being by myself — I have always slept alone, and I like my own space. Even sharing a room with someone makes me crave privacy.”

Speaking about relationships and dating, Trisha shared: “I don’t believe in stereotypical dating. I believe in real connections. I think of dating in a very American way — you go out, have dinner, get to know each other — but I find that a bit boring. For me, it’s more about spontaneous conversations. That’s how I truly get to know someone.”
