The Rishab Shetty-starrer began its box office journey with a bang, earning Rs 61.85 crore on its opening day. It saw a dip of 26 percent on Friday, collecting Rs 45.4 crore. This drop, however, was temporary as the film regained momentum on Saturday, earning Rs 55 crore — a 21 percent rise in collection. Kantara: Chapter 1 had minted Rs 235 crore worldwide within just three days of release, and the film is likely to cross the Rs 300 crore mark in worldwide collections on day 4.
