Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) chief G.K. Vasan has accused the Congress party of spreading false propaganda to block the BJP alliance’s success in Bihar.
He also criticised the DMK and its allies for opposing the appointment of a Tamil-origin Vice President, saying this attitude goes against Tamil pride.
Vasan put forward several demands for Tamil Nadu, including:
Declaring delta districts as a Protected Agricultural Zone.
Issuing a government order to support this decision.
Making Kumbakonam a separate district.
Clearing pending payments for sugarcane farmers in Thirumandangudi immediately.
Vasan’s statement combined criticism of Congress’s actions in Bihar with calls for stronger measures for Tamil Nadu’s farmers and the delta region.
