The leaders of Tirupati unit of Jana Sena Party (JSP) on Monday (June 30, 2025) urged the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to take immediate action against the proprietor of Rayudu Military Hotel located on the Visakhapatnam Highway near Rajahmundry for mimicking the interior designs of the Tirumala temple.
The leaders who petioned the TTD Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary at his camp office in their complaint alleged that the design of the hotel reflected the interiors of the sanctum sanctorum of the famed hill temple.
Adding to the controversy, the idols of Lord Venkateswara, Jaya and Vijaya also have reportedly featured among other intricate things in the hotel design.
The leaders alleged that there was an outrage among the devotees, as non-vegetarian food was also being served at the controversial hotel and demanded stern action against the hotelier besides constituting a vigilance panel to deflect recurrence of such incidents in future.
